FIRST Robotics Team 2827: Coronado High School

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is an organization founded by Dean Kamen to inspire students to explore STEM through robotics, in cooperation and competition with other schools. FIRST Robotics Competion is the most sophisticated of the FIRST programs. High School students design and build a robot for a new game each year and compete against other FRC Teams. FIRST Robotics Team 2827 -Crown City Robotics (CCR), is a relatively new FRC team, in their third year. The team has the following needs:

Mentors: CCR has only 2 mentors this year, and needs more to enable the team to develop stronger engineering skills and to teach the students how to plan and manage a project, as well as to augment the engineering design/development/testing process. Only 1 of the current team mentors is an engineer. Mentors appreciated in the following areas: Program Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer programming, Marketing (to help the team develop branding and marketing materials)

Donations: CCR at this time has sufficient resources to cover their 2011 registration costs, but they have very little funding in the way of operating expenses, to cover repairs, additional parts, services, marketing materials for the team. Monetary donations would be greatly appreciated, as well as any donations of goods and services such as:
graphic design and printing services (for brochures, buttons, Team shirts)
team banner (to be displayed at competitions that can be reused each year)
booth design/construction (for the team "pit" at competitions)
precision tools
fabrication materials for the robot (parts)
