NDIA San Diego Chapter's STEM Committee

The Chapter STEM Committee will undertake several initiatives to directly support STEM education for local students in Middle and High School as well as facilitate our members' direct participation in the wide range of efforts directed at improving STEM education locally.  The Committee will:

• Identify STEM programs with special merit and corresponding needs. Most of these are non-profit efforts need volunteers and fiscal support.
• Provide a “clearing house” to allow participants in the Chapter’s STEM initiatives to link resources to those efforts needing support and assistance.
• Provide a forum for the discussion of “best practices” for the improvement of STEM related education. This forum will bring together industry members and educators for the collaborative understanding of required student knowledge and skills and the means by which industry can positively impact the STEM education progress.
